From what was originally intended to be a meeting between myself and our Group CEO PURCO SA PURQ (Pty) Ltd Selvan Govender with Professor, we were pleasantly surprised when he kindly gifted us with his newly published book. To receive a handwritten copy was an immense honor and a humbling experience. Having gone through the Table of Contents and a couple of the chapters, it is evident that a lot of thought went into it. Moreover, having engaged with him, one can see why he champions one of the best Universities in Africa University of Johannesburg. This all-encompassing book challenges leaders to evolve and become best versions of themselves, uplifting those they lead through deeply rooted African leadership wisdom. Thank you Prof Letlhokwa Mpedi for this remarkable gift. It will undoubtedly impart wisdom, enriching the lives of many including myself.
