PURCO SA Board congratulates Prof. Francis Peterson and Prof. Rushiella Songca on their election as Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the USAf Board of Directors respectively

The PURCO SA Board, under the Chairmanship of Mr. Chris Liebenberg, congratulates Prof. Francis Petersen, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University of the Free State (UFS), on his election as the new Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Universities South Africa (USAf). This esteemed position, set to commence on January 1, 2024, reflects not only Prof. Petersen's outstanding leadership but also his dedication to the advancement of universities and the enhancement of South Africa's Higher Education sector.

Also, congratulations to Prof. Rushiella Songca, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the Walter Sisulu University, who will serve as the Vice-Chairperson.
