PURCO SA SABS ISO 9001:2015 Surveillance Audit

The PURCO SA Team has been able to maintain high-quality standards since it achieved the ISO 9001:2015 accreditation over 7 years. This is a significant accomplishment that speaks to the team's dedication and commitment to quality. The annual SABS audits serve as validation of the organization's adherence to these standards, especially considering the absence of major findings during this period.

Monday, 05 June 2023 heralds the much-anticipated SABS Surveillance external audit for PURCO SA, following the re-certification audit in June 2021 and the surveillance audit last year, which saw a successful outcome with zero findings on all audited processes namely in the departments of  Finance, IT, Quality Management Systems as well as Human Resources processes.

The emphasis on quality within PURCO SA is undoubtedly a contributing factor to the organization's growth and prosperity. By prioritizing quality, the team ensures that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations, leading to increased customer satisfaction and loyalty. Additionally, maintaining high standards helps build a positive reputation and fosters trust among stakeholders.

The aim of this surveillance audit of PURCO SA Management Systems, is to assess compliance within the requirements of the standard, ISO 9001:2015; ensuring that PURCO SA remains within the quality paradigm of best practice to maintain quality culture of the organisation.

The day will commence at 09H00 sharp, with an opening meeting with by the CEO, Mr. Selvan Govender and the PURCO SA staff, Management and SABS auditor who will explain the process of the audit and the programme of the day. During the course of the day, the auditor will engage with top management in understanding the business, the strategy, the short and long-term plans, as well as any changes that have occurred since the last surveillance audit in 2022.
